What started as a modest venture in textile trading has evolved into one of Central India’s most respected and forward-thinking business conglomerates. With every passing decade, we’ve grown not just in scale, but in spirit-embracing innovation, empowering communities, and creating value that endures.

Established in 1950 at India’s geographical centre, the Pagariya Group embarked on its journey with a commitment to contribute to the nation’s post-Independence resurgence. With focus on agriculture and core industries, the Group sought to build enterprises that reflected India’s heritage and evolving aspirations. Over the decades, this dream has matured into a robust conglomerate, with each business vertical actively participating in the nation-building process.

While starting as a small trading business the intent was to always build robust value chains across the businesses we were involved in. This led us to build a modern cotton ginning and pressing facility at the agricultural belt of Jalgaon, Maharashtra, which got us focussed on manufacturing. The 1980s opened up new opportunities. Since we were grounded in the heart of India’s agricultural base, there was an expansion into wholesale trading, adding food grains and essential commodities to our portfolio. This diversification was our first step into becoming the diverse industry conglomerate we are today.
